Dragon Tortle

Aquatic cousins of the peaceable Tortles, Dragon Tortles spend most of their life at sea and aggressively defend their sunken treasures. Dragon Tortles are generally larger than terrestrial tortles, with hooked beaks, long webbed claws, and spiky shells. Two natural "chimneys" jut from their backs, venting heat and pressure from the internal boiler that fuels their deadly steam breath.

Dragon Tortle
Ability Score Increase: Your Constitution increases by 2 and your Strength increases by 1.
Age: Dragon Tortles crawl for a few weeks after birth before learning to walk on two legs. They reach adulthood by the age of 15 and live an average of 80 years.
Alignment: Dragon Tortles tend to be solitary and tend strongly toward Neutral alignments.
Size: Most Dragon Tortles stand between 6 and 7 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed: 25 ft.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and your choice of Aquan or Draconic.
Hybrid Nature: You have two creature types: humanoid and dragon. You can be affected by a game effect if it works on either of your creature types.
Amphibious: You can breathe air and water, and your swimming speed is equal to your base movement speed.
Claws: Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Natural Armour: Due to your shell and the shape of your body, you are ill-suited to wearing armor. Your shell provides ample protection, however; it gives you a base AC of 17 (your Dexterity modifier doesn't affect this number). You gain no benefit from wearing armor, but if you are using a shield, you can apply the shield's bonus as normal.
Steam Breath: You can use your action to exhale scalding stream. When you use your steam breath, all creatures in a 15-ft. cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. The DC of this saving throw is 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 fire damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increase to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th, and 5d6 at 16th level. After using your steam breath, you cannot use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
